Motiva Preservé™ - Eine weitere Revolution in der Brustvergrösserung

For many women, the decision to undergo breast augmentation is a significant step toward greater self-confidence and satisfaction with their own body. But the wish for surgery also comes with concerns: How invasive is the procedure? How long does healing take? Will the breasts look and feel natural?

What is Motiva Preservé™?

Motiva Preservé™ is a new technique in breast surgery characterised by a particularly tissue-preserving approach. This method combines proven techniques from traditional breast surgery with Mia Femtech™, with the goal of preserving the natural breast tissue as much as possible and creating a shorter recovery time.

Motiva Preservé™ is especially suitable for women who wish for a gentle form of breast augmentation. During the procedure, only a small access point along the inframammary fold is used, so the resulting scar remains almost invisible. Thanks to the choice of state-of-the-art implants (Motiva's Ergonomix2® implants), the new breast shape blends harmoniously into the natural body silhouette.

The advantages of Motiva Preservé™ at a glance

While Mia® remains the exclusive method of breast augmentation, Motiva Preservé™ offers a range of additional advantages that make the procedure particularly appealing to our patients:

  • Short treatment time: The Motiva Preservé™ method takes only around half an hour and can be performed under local anaesthesia.
  • Preservation of breast tissue: thanks to the unique high-tech system used to insert the implants, the breast tissue can be preserved.
  • Quick recovery after breast surgery: thanks to this innovative approach, most patients can return to their daily activities 60 minutes after the procedure.
  • Natural look and feel: the Ergonomix2® implants are known for their especially natural movement. They adapt to the body's movements, giving the impression of a natural breast.
  • Minimal scarring: since only a small incision in the inframammary fold is needed, the scar remains barely visible. Wound healing is quick and unobtrusive, resulting in a harmonious, natural outcome.
  • More volume: compared with Mia®, this type of breast augmentation allows for a larger cup size.

How does the Motiva Preservé™ method work?

Motiva Preservé™ is performed under local anaesthesia and takes only half an hour. The procedure is based on a special tissue-preservation concept. A small access point is used to create a channel for the implant, which only stretches the tissue, meaning no incision within the breast tissue itself is required.

The underlying muscle is also spared, making the procedure less painful and safer. With this approach, the small scar (2-2.5 cm) remains hidden in the inframammary fold.

The tissue is stretched using what is known as the Motiva inflatable balloon. The implant itself is inserted using the no-touch technique via a special insertion sleeve, without direct skin contact. This helps minimise the risk of infection while ensuring precise placement.

The wound is then closed with the finest self-dissolving sutures, resulting in barely visible scars. The entire method is designed to make the procedure as tissue-preserving and safe as possible.

Frequently asked questions about Motiva Preservé™

What material are the implants made of?

The Joy.(dot)® implants (Ergonomix2®) are made from modern, exceptionally soft silicone with a SmoothSilk® surface. They allow for natural movement and feel.

Is the method safe?

Yes, Motiva Preservé™ uses innovative tissue-preservation technologies. At BRST, you're cared for by an experienced team, so you can feel confident you're in safe hands.

How long does healing take?

Thanks to the gentle technique, there is no classic downtime. Most patients are back to their daily routine very quickly.

How does Motiva Preservé™ differ from Mia®?

Preservé™ uses the same instruments as Mia®, so Mia® remains the exclusive method of breast augmentation. However, the incision is made in the inframammary fold rather than the armpit. In addition, Mia uses the diamond-shaped Motiva Ergonomix2® Diamond implants, while Preservé™ uses the round Motiva Ergonomix2® implants. Compared with Mia®, it is also possible to insert larger implants.

Are there already other providers of Motiva Preservé™ in Switzerland?
