Born and raised in Winterthur, Dr. Schneider studied human medicine at the University of Zurich, where she earned her medical degree and doctorate. From an early age, she was captivated by the individuality and beauty of the human form. To complement her medical training, she pursued studies in nude painting, portrait painting, and sculpting at the Zurich University of the Arts, further honing her sense of proportion and detail.
Dr. Schneider began her surgical training as a resident at Winterthur Cantonal Hospital before advancing to specialized training in plastic surgery at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital and University Hospital Zurich. After completing this rigorous program, she earned both the Swiss and European board certifications in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in 2018.
Her dedication to excellence continued as she served as a senior physician and team leader at University Hospital Zurich. There, she developed extensive expertise in plastic surgery while mentoring aspiring surgeons.
As a mother of three, Dr. Schneider is deeply committed to balancing a demanding surgical career with family life. Her personal experiences inform her empathetic approach to patient care, making her uniquely attuned to the needs of her patients.
Dr. Schneider has pursued advanced training across Europe, earning the European Master’s Degree in Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Breast Surgery. Her extensive travels for professional development have taken her to renowned institutions in Barcelona, London, Paris, Helsinki, Brussels, and Madrid. These experiences have enriched her knowledge, particularly in addressing breast malformations, breast cancer reconstruction, and aesthetic breast surgery.
As a recognized authority in her field, Dr. Schneider is an integral part of the BRST team and a core member of the Lake Zurich Breast Center. Her dedication to innovative techniques and patient-centered care ensures she delivers outstanding outcomes tailored to each individual’s needs.
