Christian Felix, MD

He grew up in Zurich and Davos and completed his studies in human medicine at the University of Zurich, where he later also earned his doctorate. His specialist training in anaesthesia took place at Kantonsspital Chur and Universitätsspital Zürich. During this time, he also served as an emergency physician on board the Rega rescue helicopter.

In 2005, Dr. Felix pursued a one-year specialization in anesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures in Melbourne, Australia. This international experience enriched his expertise, and upon returning to the University Hospital Zurich, he worked as a senior physician in both the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and the cardiac operating room.

In 2013, by then Deputy Head of Cardiac Anaesthesia, he left the university hospital and moved to Hirslandenklinik. In 2015, Dr. Christian Felix had the opportunity to join Hypnocare, where he has been a partner and member of the management board since 2019. Hypnocare is a group of independent board-certified anaesthesiologists specialising in anaesthesia care for plastic surgery.
