An exclusive high-tech system for a patented, minimally invasive procedure
With the Mia Femtech™ System, the tissue is gently pushed aside by a balloon through a small incision in the armpit. This creates the space for the implant. The implant is inserted into the breast with an insertion device using a true “no-touch technique”. The implant is not touched at any time. The only incision in this treatment is only the superficial cutting of the skin in the armpit, everything else is done bluntly.
All the instruments used in the treatment are single use, which again significantly minimizes the spread of germs.
Breast tissue preservation technique allows for small, hidden scars
With Mia Femtech™, no breast tissue is cut. The breast tissue remains connected to the chest wall. The implant is merely nested in the breast tissue (“nesting effect”). By preserving the breast tissue, the breast remains intact in form and function, which significantly minimizes the complication rate.
The treatment is only performed in twilight sleep on an outpatient basis and patients are able to return to work 1-2 days after the procedure. Sports can also be resumed earlier than after conventional techniques after 3-4 weeks. The scar is practically inconspicuous in a specific area of the armpit.

Technique
The operation is performed under twilight sleep and is supervised at all times by a specialized anesthesiologist. With the Mia Femtech™ System, the breast tissue is gently pushed aside through a small incision in the armpit by means of a balloon, but without cutting important retaining and vascular structures of the breast. This creates the space for the implant without cutting through anything. The implant is then gently inserted into the breast with an insertion aid using a true “no-touch technique”. This means that at no time does the inserted implant come into contact with either the patient’s skin or the surgeon’s gloves.
