Before the procedure, you will have a comprehensive consultation with your attending physician. During this meeting, we will discuss your wishes and ideas, explain the entire process, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident from the very start.
Our plastic surgeons use the MinimalScar® technique, aiming for a short and barely noticeable scar. Thanks to the unique properties of the Ergonomix2® SmoothSilk® implants, we can insert them through a very small incision. This special surgical technique reduces the incision size to about half of the typical length, approximately 2 cm.
The breast tissue is not completely severed, which helps minimize the implant cavity. This allows the ergonomic implant to develop naturally. This tissue-sparing method makes it possible to insert larger implants without weakening the tissue over time. This approach is often referred to as “preservation breast augmentation.”
We do not use conventional sizers (trial implants) in order to reduce the risk of infection and increase your safety. Instead, we work with you to choose and customize your Motiva implants based on your preferences.
To prepare the implant pocket, a retractor—a small, arc-shaped surgical instrument—is used for minimal tissue disruption. When inserting the implants, we utilize a special insertion aid (insertion sleeve) to ensure the implants never come into contact with the skin or surgical instruments (no-touch technique). This, combined with the use of single-use materials, significantly minimizes the risk of infection and enhances safety during the procedure.
After the procedure, you will receive personalized and thorough aftercare. Our specialists will guide you through the entire healing process and are available for follow-up appointments and any additional care tips you may need.
Most of our patients can return to work within 2 weeks. We recommend avoiding sports and strenuous physical activity for about 6 weeks; however, lower-body exercise can usually be resumed earlier.
